Where to Start?

The first step is: Do you know the purpose of your website? Personal, to post pictures for your friends and family, your church group to post your calendar of events, or do you want to start your own business online?

I started by helping my friends and family with their websites sites doing a little of all-of-the-above. Which lead me to create this site. I am a professor in my day job so I do have a compulsion to help people learn.

Below I have a link to Site Build It! which does offer web hosting and everything else you'll need for a fee. But their web site is rich with free infomration in the form of eBooks. It is a great deal for what they offer but it may not be right for you. Check out their information and you will learn where to go from here now that you know what is the purpose of your website.
